Prep and Makeup Meet in One Composition
Skin steps beneath makeup and color steps above it share a sequence, but one does not become the first product of the other. Each formula keeps its own intended role, directions, warnings, eligible claims, and evidence limits. Begin with the desired look and setting, then decide which skin and makeup products are actually needed to create it.
Define the Finish Before Solving for Products
Name the desired coverage, visible skin detail, reflection, color balance, edge, movement, and wear setting. Luminous, satin, matte, graphic, sheer, perfected, and intentionally textured looks are all valid. Coyglow does not assume that hydration, grip, or fewer base layers automatically creates a more polished result. The visual brief leads; category folklore does not.
Verify Every Formula in the Stack
Read the exact skin and makeup product records, live shades or variants when available, directions, warnings, eligible claims, formats, tools, and removal information. Do not transfer a general ingredient story into a prep promise or infer makeup compatibility from texture alone. When evidence is missing, keep the relationship a comparison question rather than a claim.
Control Order, Amount, Placement, and Tools
Apply products through their directions and vary only eligible choices. Full-face prep, selective placement, different amounts, or no optional prep can each support a look. The same is true for complexion coverage. Observe spread, set, reflection, visible texture, and movement at normal distance. Do not use a fixed pause time or make invisible skin the success condition.
Review Appearance and Comfort Separately
Check the composition in relevant light, camera, movement, speech, clothing, and timing. Pilling, separation, shine, or gathering describes what is visible in that combination; it does not prove a hidden skin state or formula failure. Comfort remains its own boundary. Adjust the supported application choice or product candidate that serves the look while leaving causation unresolved.
Save the Complete Look, Including Removal
Record skin products, makeup formulas, live shades, amounts, order, placement, tools, light, timing, finish, nail color when relevant, and removal. A successful recipe may use several prep steps, one, or none beyond the existing routine. Coyglow makes the full composition repeatable without ranking the person by how much skin is visible or how little product can be detected.
